Bringing a touch of sweet, floral nostalgia to your festive wardrobe, Sudari brings to life the incredible, centuries-old art of Kai Achu — a manual wax-resist block printing heritage from the historic loom town of Madurai.
Every single delicate micro-dot on this premium fabric is painstakingly stamped by hand using molten wax before entering the dye baths, lending each piece its beautifully organic, hand-crafted soul. Cut from the finest, ultra-breathable premium 120s handloom Madurai Sungudi cotton, this gown is a true testament to grand textile volume.
We use a sweeping, maximum-capacity panel allocation that makes the continuous skirt cascade into an incredibly dramatic flare that catches the air magnificently with every spin. The top half features a beautifully fitted, elongating neckline that drops into a clean bodice, while the back reveals a striking, structured cutout. The entire sweeping hemline is beautifully grounded by the saree’s original, fluidly woven gold zari border.
